Color Correction

Description

Manage your attention between different colorful screens while controlling and freezing multiple cursors at once. Can you beat BREAK mode without shattering apart? If not, there's always different customizable difficulties to choose and more personalized keybinds to use.

Controls

Gameplay uses mouse and keyboard:
Mouse for the buttons, keyboard to "lock" screens.
6 keybinds total, which are rebindable.

Default keybinds are Q W E A S D

Esc button to pause the game and access the menu or settings.

Gameplay

Move forwards in a randomly generated set of courses that are modifiable through difficulty settings.
Your objective is to reach the goal in as many screens as you can before time is up. Lenient difficulties will allow you to take each task one at a time, but higher difficulties will need smart and efficient use of the locking mechanic.

Each key is associated with a screen, which will "lock" when its key is pressed. Locking a screen means it won't move forwards and its cursor will become stuck in place. If you lock the cursor while doing a task where you have to hold to charge, it will keep charging while it's locked, meaning you can focus on other screens temporarily.

Dangerous tasks require your attention and fast reaction to either complete them or lock them for later. Be careful! Failing two dangerous tasks in the same screen causes them to break and be disabled!

Settings

There are sliders to control the different volumes of the game, an area to change the 6 basic keybinds, and a colorblind mode that makes the dangerous task easier to notice and react to.

Credits

All visual assets were made by me on Aseprite or through Unity's blocks (I never figured out meshes on Blender).

Music made by me on LMMS using the VSTs on Spitfire Audio.

Many of the sound effects downloaded from Pixabay and ZapSplat, some made by me on Famistudio.

Sound system used in project is Wwise (for sound management and interactive music)

And an additional thanks to my friends for playtesting my project for me while I had less than an hour left at 2am :)
