Beginning to work on the shadow mechanics. If the player moves out of shade, a countdown starts of how long they can stay outside the shadow. Every move counts it down further and, if the count goes down again while the player is at zero, the player dies.

Made a sprite that represents the counter in its various states and future upgrades.

MASSIVELY sidetracked, spent 45 minutes making a song and using it for the main menu... despite planning to do that with a few days left. It was just too fun.

Creating a mechanic where going to tiles that are actively illuminated through light sources such as torches will instantly dissipate the player, effectively serving as death tiles.
